I’ve always loved taking pictures and lately it seems I’m taking a lot of them. Documentation of life is important to me…photos help tell the story and I am a storyteller at heart.  Because of the ephemeral nature of plants and flowers, photos are a necessity in the world of floral design and gardening.  It’s a joy to capture the bee buzzing on the foxglove, or the big wedding design you don’t get to live with for more than a few hours.  And I love capturing one small second of a person’s life in a photo; it’s stopping time really.  It’s the interaction between people and plants that’s the most interesting to me, I think.  Dogs are pretty cool too.
